As you probably figured out by now, I'm a fan of the University of Colorado Boulder's head football coach Deon "Coach Prime" Sanders. (Don't tell my University of Nebraska-Lincoln parents!)

One of the things, I've noticed about college coaches is that they are usually wearing their school's name, brand, and logo all the time.

Similarly, their assistant coaches, administrative staff, trainers, and players are always decked out in the university's "swag."

There's a certain level of identity and pride one has when wearing their school's colors.

Why should it be any different for companies . . . or, law firms, like mine?

One of my recent quarterly meetings with my business coach David Kelly, Business Growth Consultant of the Growth Solutions Team focused on company culture.

For the last few months, I've been focused on my firm's culture: What is it? What do I want it to be?

It occurred to me that if you have a great culture, then people would be proud to identify themselves as members of your company. Perhaps, they would wear company swag much the same way that coaches and athletes wear their school's swag.

And so, with the help of Andrew Boone of Maryland Print House, I created the Albers & Associates Swag Store.

The firm gave each employee store credit to shop at the store. I'm happy to report that many took advantage of the credit!

The vision for the Swag Store is to not only give employees a place to purchase company swag but to also be able to gift employees company merchandise for a job well done, in addition to monetary recognition.

Do you own or work for a company that you would proudly wear its name across your chest?

Get swaggy to build culture!
