If there is a tough decision to be made, the longer you delay, the more speculation and anxiety everyone experiences.  The best course is to gather information in an efficient, expeditious manner and make a decision!

If the decision must be delayed, give yourself and everyone involved a deadline date.  If you know you will not be satisfied unless you have a voluminous amount of detail, be clear on what you need, how much time you’ll need to review the information, and when you will make a decision!

So often, indecision is not about the information you think you need but rather about your disliking the choices you may be offered.  Be aware that indecisiveness can kill energy and enthusiasm in your staff or team members so…make a decision!
